Summer Sunny Skin…

Gone are the days of applying liberal amounts of Ban de Soleil tanning oil no. 3 for “sunscreen”.
At 40 my skin-in particular my face needs extra protection from the sun.  That means my skincare routine ramps up a notch this time of year.  My “dailies” are…

Eye hopePhilosophy “Eye Hope” advanced eye cream *use every day 2x…it is the bomb.com

Hope in a jarPhilosophy “hope in a jar” for all skin types *these two items are the anchor of my skin care regimen.
I love Philosophy products.  I have combination skin and in the humidity my make-up can slide right off!  Hope in a Jar and Eye Hope have helped that NOT to be the case.  I mean…who wants to look like Edwina from Absolutely Fabulous on a Friday night out on the town??!!!

To wash…in the summer dirt, sweat, dust and sand is hard on your face.  Everyone should have a daily facial cleanser.  My favorite is DDF Glycolic 5% Exfoliating Wash.  Let me put it to you like this…this product boasts that the glycolic acid sweeps away debris on the skin and minimizes pores.  It’s TRUE!  In the 2 years I have used this product-I can tell my pores are smaller.  If I think it is so…that is all that matters!  I usually buy DDF at Ulta.  They have a free gift with purchase through the June 28th.
DDF CleanserNew on the list…Dr. Dennis Gross Anti Aging Facial Peel.  This all natural, cruelty free, paraben & phthlate free, vegan daily peel is my new favorite skin care product!  Used nightly after you wash your face-this 2 step process takes 4 minutes and leaves your skin feeling smooth and totally refreshed.  Order it immediately if not sooner!

Goe Oil by Jao is last on the list.  Made of 28 plant, fruit and flower oils Goe Oil is my solution to dry, sun-damaged skin and can also be used to tame fly-aways in the heat and humidity.  A little goes a long way!

What is your favorite skin care product??!  I am always in the market to try new products and would love to hear your suggestions!  Happy Hump Day!  XOXO,  Catherine
