Cheers to the Freakin’ Weekend…

Another one for the books!  Cheers and Haaaaaaaaaaaapppppppppppppppppyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy Monday!  The rain on our coast is bringing me down-great for the yard…but awful for my mojo!  I’m ready for it to S-T-O-P!

In spite of the rain-the weekend was pretty marvy!!   We party-bussed it out to Folly Beach to celebrate the last of the “high school” girls turning 40!!  It was a blast…my special group of oldest friends has done an unbelievable job making this landmark birthday special for everyone.   We have shrimp boiled, food trucked, bowled, dance partied, had the greatest downtown stay-cation, boozy lunched it, shopped until we dropped and  laughed ourselves silly the whole way.

We love Folly Beach…though we may never be invited back.  Just close enough-and just far enough away!!

These friends…what can I say.  Friends are the family put into your life to hold you up in the worst of times, hold your hair after the wildest of times, hold your hand during the saddest of times, hold you back when you are on the brink and hold the door as you take steps for the first time.   I would be lost without mine, and thank God for them every single day.

XOXO,  Catherine

Happy Birthday Tooooooo Me…

Happy Birthday to me!  It’s only 8:50am and I have already been thrown a beautiful breakfast by my sales sisters at work complete with my special order from Starbucks and blueberry doughnuts.  YUM!   The plan is to enjoy my abbreviated work day, hit the beach on Sullivan’s Island then head to a wine tasting with my girls at Indaco downtown followed by comedy at Theatre 99 (we are totally taking advantage of Spoleto this year).

I have always loved my birthday!  It’s about friends & family, eating cake, splurging on something special, trying something new, letting go of the old and having FUN!  Happy Wednesday friends!

XOXO,  The Birthday Girl

PS-Stay tuned to see what my b-day splurge will be this year….I wonder!
